Job Posting: Playgroup Coordinator (Langley Infant Development Program)

The Langley Infant Development Program is looking for a Playgroup Coordinator. If you know someone who is looking for part time hours and enjoys working with young children and families, we’d love to hear from them.

 

• Coordinating and facilitating 2-3 weekly drop in playgroups for children, birth – 3 years, with developmental delays (or at risk for delays)
• ECE background; Infant-Toddler and/or Special Needs Certificate an asset but not a requirement
• Preferably a minimum of 3 years experience facilitating groups; experience working with children with special needs would be an asset
• Position is 3 days/week (5 hours per day – 8:30 am – 1:30 pm); preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Tuesday is negotiable if another day works better)
• Wage ranges from $16.33 - $19.01 depending on experience
• Start date – ASAP
• Considered temporary at this point (ending March 31, 2016) but may become more long term
